Astrology and horoscopes have always been a part of people’s lives. The
influences these two bring are overwhelming.
Among the different aspects of astrology is the transit. Transits are considered as an astrological event wherein mathematical relationships are made as the planets orbit the sun in the solar system. These relationships draw our attention to a certain area. By understanding these transits, people are able to understand more deeply the events in their lives.
2011 is highlighted by Uranus’ movement into the fire sign Aries as well as Neptune’s slow transition into Pisces. These two planets are two of the so-called generational planets. Moreover, these two stay longer in a zodiac because they are located far out in the solar system. It could be said that we are indeed moving into a new era since Pluto’s transition into Capricorn last 2008 and Uranus’ and Neptune’s moving into new signs at present.
Uranus transitions into Aries
Uranus normally stays within a zodiac for approximately 8 years. And now, it is the planet of sudden and unpredictable change, Uranus, that is entering the fire sign Aries. It was on May 27 of last year that Uranus first entered Aries. It retrograded back into Pisces on August 13.
Uranus will remain in Aries until 2019.
Last July 9, Uranus retrograded within a degree and a half of a square to Pluto. It is on June 2012 that the first exact square of Uranus and Pluto will take place.
Neptune transitions into Pisces
Neptune begins its transition into Pisces, the water sign. Neptune is considered the lord of the sea who is associated with the lunar goddess of mystery, Nephthys. It was on April 14, 2011 that Neptune first entered Pisces. It will retrograde back into Aquarius on August 4. On February 3, 2012, it will move into Pisces until 2025.
Jupiter enters Aries and Taurus
Last January 22, Jupiter reentered Aries and on June 4, it entered Taurus. Normally, Jupiter stays in a zodiac for about one year. It also expands any sign that it comes in relationship with. Impulsive, energetic, and open to change are the characteristics of Aries which is a fire sign. Taurus, on the other hand, is an earth sign that is grounded in the body, is practical, and earth reality. Furthermore, it is associated with Hathor.
Jupiter conjuncts Uranus
With the King Young energy of Jupiter, the shattering energy of Uranus is expanded. The third of three exact conjunctions was completed at the 27th degree on January 4 by Jupiter and Uranus. It was in June of last year that this alignment was begun.
Jupiter squares Pluto
Pluto, the lord of the underworld, is squared by the Young King Jupiter for the third and final time last February 25 at Capricorn 8 degrees.
Jupiter opposite Saturn
The principle of consolidation, Saturn, is opposed by the principle of expansion, Jupiter. Last March 28, the third of three exact oppositions took place. It was in May when Jupiter first opposed Saturn and the same will happen on August.
Jupiter trine Pluto
Jupiter aligns harmoniously with Pluto. These two planets will trine each other on three dates. First was last July 7, second on October 28, and lastly on March 13 next year.
Mercury retrograde
With an approximate three weeks interval, Mercury will turn retrograde three times on 2012. It is the planet of communication, transportation, and communication systems. When Mercury is in retrograde, it is suggested that people collectively retreat and take stock of those that need to be re-thought or redone. During retrograde periods, there is literally a breakdown of communication systems which makes it difficult for people to move forward.
It is during the Mercury retrograde periods that it is best to seek inner guidance. It is best to rethink and reprocess how things are supposed to be.

No one is being forced to believe in astrology or in the astrology signs. It is up to the person if this will have some influence to his life.
