Fire on Broadway Psychic Shop Claims $9k in Damages
The fire that consumed a small psychic shop on Broadway amounted to damages worth $9,000 with $4,000 in property damages and $5,000 structural damage.
According to Lieutenant Sue Strangl of the Seattle Fire Department, the fire started from an overheated electrical cord that sat beside a mattress.
The shop was opened by a streetside psychic next to the Broadway Grill last June. Destiny, the owner, said she was having dinner in the back of the shop when the incident happened.
The fire started at around 5:45pm No body was injured and the flames were quickly extinguished.
