Head of Police Okays Psychics Help
Northumberland – New information and psychic tips are now being welcomed to help solve the case of the December 31 crash that killed Travis M. Lecatsas. This is after the Point Township Police have exhausted all leads in their investigation of the case. This is according to Police Chief, Joshua Van Kirk.
“We haven’t ever worked with a psychic, but a young man was killed in an accident on our highway, and obviously we’ll accept any information if something turns up,” said Van Kirk.
This news came as a response to the reports stating that the parents of Lecatsas are hiring a private investigator, Degg Stark, as well as a psychic detective to look into what caused their son to crash his Mitsubishi Eclipse in Route 11. Because of the injuries to the head of Lecatsas, he died five days after the incident.
Lecatsas was seen with another motorist and seemed to be in a race. There is also another black Pontiac Grand Prix involved according to witnesses.
There is one man who is believed to have been in the area who acted suspiciously after the incident, according to the Lecatsas. However, the family believes also that the police did not exhaust all their efforts and use the leads for the resolution of the case and that they have closed the investigation.
“Closed is not an accurate term,” said Van Kirk.
The police were not successful in the search for the driver of the Pontiac and the other vehicle. They also further did not use the “loose” leads like interviewing the man who acted suspicious in the scene.
According to Van Kirk, the leads had all been followed but they also welcome the help of private investigators and a psychic for the resolution of the case.
