Mom of Missing Ontario Girl Turns to Psychics
Eight-year-old Tori Stafford of Woodstock, Ontario, Cananda went missing three weeks ago. The third grader was on her way home when she disappeared. She was last seen walking with an unknown woman. The woman is described as being in her 20s in a ponytail wearing a puffy white jacket. They were last captured by a surveillance video as she left Oliver Stephens Public School.
The Oxford Community Police Service has already offered a $50,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the parties responsible for the child’s abduction. The announcement followed an offer to the girl’s parents form a mystery benefactor who is willing to pay for the girl’s release.
Tara McDonald, Tori’s mother, said an anonymous donor offered to help with any ransom demands. Police have received over 2,000 tips but there’s no new information about the schoolgirl’s disappearance.
McDonald said Wednesday that she has a “million theories” but no answers as to why her daughter was abducted. Until now, she has no solid answer. She is turning to psychics as a last straw. “You are willing, at this point, to do absolutely anything,” says McDonald.
She has chatted with several online psychics and met up with some, too. Most of them say that Tori is safe. One psychic was concerned about the girl’s health, saying she might become ill because she was being fed junk food. “They don’t feel that there has been any harm done to her,” said McDonald.
“If that’s who I have to listen to to draw comfort from, then that is what I have to do.”
