Morgantown Offers A Paranormal Conference for Psychics and Mediums
Lectures, workshops, tarot card readings and ghost walks some of the activities to be held for psychics and medium in a Paranormal Conference in Morgan Town in February 21 2009.
The Paranormal Conference has got the approval of the Historic Clarion Hotel Morgan management for a promised ghost walk. The owner Richard W. Brant says “its definitely not haunted” and adds “We’ve been involved with the hotel since 1994, and it’s the first we’ve ever heard of anything like that.”
Brant’s first question about this were “where does it come from, what do the organizers base this on?”
Psychic and medium conference Director Anthony Atha answered that question. “A guest there said he had experiences” said the psychic who is working for his masters in business administration at West Virginia University but didn’t add any other details on it.
The company COO asked that certain implications about the hotel and haunting be removed from the conference website though initially, hotel management gave no restrictions on the types of statements the psychics and medium could make about the hotel. Brant replies with the belief that a small conference will not affect the hotel’s solid reputation.
“It is a historic property and a lot of our customers come for that reason,” he said. “Some people might find (any claim about paranormal events in the hotel) a novelty, most would find it stupid, and I suppose some insignificant percent could be swayed one way or the other by it.”
