Pet Psychic Joins Dog Festival
Puppy Pawlooza, London’s first all-dog festival held last Sunday featured a pet psychic. The event was expected to have as many as 10,000 attendees for a day of obedience and agility demonstrations, beauty contests, rescue-animal adoption and of course, pet psychic reading. There are also hundreds of pet items for sale.
The event is a fundraiser for the Animal Rescue Foundation and Leads Employment Services for people with disabilities. Craig Huffman, one of the event’s organizers, said planning began a couple of year’s ago. The group behind it wanted to put together an even similar to Toronto’s Woofstock festival. The event has 100 volunteers, 135 sponsors and 80 vendors (including 15 rescue organizations).
One of the pet readers present is psychic Angie Aristone. She is an expert at telling owners what their pets are thinking or feeling.
“All I’m doing is picking up energy and putting it into English,” said Aristone. The psychic normally does readings for people, but will be donating proceeds from Saturday’s individual pet consultations to the two charities.
