Physicists explain how time travel is possible
“The possibility of teleportation in time may actually exist,” This is according to physicists Jay Olson and Timothy Ralph at the University of Queensland in Australia. They based it on their findings which were recently published in the Cornell University’s Library online publication via arXiv.org website.
The findings are based on the “entanglement”, an elusive quantum phenomenon wherein there are two particles that can become so intimately linked. If you try to change the state of one article, the other one is expected to change in exactly the same way – no matter how far apart they are.
A new type of quantum entanglement was observed in Olson and Ralph’s mathematical model. It was observed to extend not through space but through time. You will find that a quantum message moves in time if you will use the time-like entanglement while skipping it over to intermediate points as explained by Olson. If you are going to observe it mathematically, you will notice that there is no difference on it. You should be able to do with time-like entanglement in whatever you can do with ordinary entanglement.
According to the main author of the new study (Olson), it is also observed that a message from particle can travel from the present times to the future of the other particle. It can happen without existing in the time between the two points which provides a shortcut into the future. It is possible to send your quantum state into the future without the adversity of the middle time.
In addition to that findings, the time of day must be in alignment for the transference to take place. The future detector must wait to become active if the past detector was active at quarter 12:00 at precisely a quarter past 12:00. This is to be able to achieve the entanglement in which that suggested protocol possibly be called “teleportation in time”. This findings based on the quantum entanglement is believed to explain a fundamental reality of our universe.
