Psychic Businesses Get a Boost in Recession
During times of uncertainty, the psychic business is poised for a big boom. Seeing the reality of the recession is enough to drive anyone to cling to a new hope. Banks are closing down, the stock markets continue its decline and retrenchment is knocking on the doors of most companies.
Such tough times are bringing many business owners closer to their psychic helpers. Most of them are simply looking for guidance during the downturn. Employees, on the other hand, are concerned about their job security and finances.
These troubling times are helping boost the psychic industry. Psychic businesses are reporting an increase in numbers by double digits. One such case is for the American Association of Psychics. The professional trade organization says that 90% of their customers are now inquiring about money matters and the economy.
An article in Wired magazine last year reported that Internet psychics saw a spike in traffic the day after the Dow Jones industrial average dropped 770 points.
Psychic readings cost anywhere from $50 to $100, but despite the cost people are clamoring for advice on the future. Most psychics are very realistic about their response. While the future is bright, it is also important to remind people that the recession is a reality they have to face.
